With over 45 years in the hot tub industry, we are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Sales Associate for our Hot Tub, Pool, and Patio Department to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for customers, guiding them in selecting the ideal hot tub, pool, patio furniture, and related products. Your mission is to provide exceptional customer service, showcase product features, and ensure a smooth shopping experience. This role offers a chance for advancement in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, with hourly pay plus commission. ## Duties
- **Warmly greet customers** and assist them with inquiries about hot tubs, pools, patio furniture, and accessories.
- **Conduct product demonstrations** to highlight the features and benefits of various hot tubs and other products.
- Basic computer skills and critical thinking skills are needed.
- **Perform pool and spa water testing** and advise customers on water care (training will be provided).
- **Maintain merchandising standards**
- Being able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- **Manage inventory** by stocking shelves and monitoring stock levels.
- **Provide excellent customer service** through effective communication skills and phone etiquette.
## Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a pool and spa store or a similar environment. Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with customers and team members.
- Experience in pool and spa water chemistry or a willingness to learn to become a water care professional (training provided).
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor and phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work during store hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
